Ann Claire Hearnen, age 52, formerly of Marshall, died Sunday, January 3, 2010 after living with ovarian cancer for over six years. Mass of Christian burial is scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 7, 2009, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Marshall. Visitation will be held at the Hamilton Funeral Home on Wednesday evening, January 6, from 4 to 7 P.M. with a prayer service at 6:30. Burial will be in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery at a later date. . Luncheon will be in the church basement following the service.
Ann was born to parents Aaron and Elaine (Halvorson) Hearnen on October 27, 1957. She worked many years for US Bank and Schwan’s.
Ann is survived by 8 siblings, Susan (Wayne) Lindberg of Ironton, Mary Carey of Savage, Katherine Knutson of Turtle Lake, Wisconsin, Karen Hearnen (Juan Rivera) of Burnsville, Timothy Hearnen of Marshall, Joan (Steve) McCombs of Eagan, Laurie Koenig of Rice Lake, Wisconsin, and Robert Hearnen of Marshall; 11 nieces and nephews, 14 great nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Aaron and Elaine; brothers, Michael and Steven; and brother-in-law, Greg Carey.
