Ann Mae Schrunk

Marshall: Ann M. Schrunk, age 85, of Marshall, passed away at the Avera Morningside Heights Care Center on Wednesday, October 6, 2010. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 9, 2010 at the Christ United Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in the Russell City Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. with a 7:30 P.M. prayer service at the Hamilton Funeral Home. Visitation will continue at the church on Saturday, one hour prior to the service. Ann was born to John and Anna (Conley) Farrell on April 3, 1925 in Todd County, Minnesota. She was baptized and confirmed in the Christian faith. On September 29, 1951, Ann was united in marriage to Rolland Robert Schrunk at Austin, Minnesota. They farmed in Island Lake Township and Ann worked for Schwan’s Sales Enterprises from 1967 until she retired in 1995. Rolland passed away in April 1988 and Ann joined him in death on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at the Avera Morningside Heights Care Center. She had reached the age of 85 years, 6 months and 3 days. She is survived by her three children, Brenda (Tom) Sand of Bemidji, Gene (Eileen) Schrunk of Marshall and Lonnie (Peggy) Schrunk of Lynd; five grandchildren, John Sand, Eric Sand, Kimberly Dybdahl, Tim Schrunk and Sarah Schrunk; three great grandchildren, Tate Sand, Kate Sand and Kamryn Dybdahl; two sisters, Irene Erickson of Clarissa and Lila Sticha of Owatonna; also many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rolland (1988); son, Tim (1978); grandson, Luke Swedzinski (2000); and ten brothers, Jim, Rob, Glen, Lynn, Everett, Larry, Willie, Freddie, Rolland and Roger. The love of Ann’s life was her family and doing things for them and with them. Her enjoyments included crocheting, playing cards, traveling near and far, and being the camp host on family camping trips. Ann was a faithful member of the Christ United Presbyterian Church at the time of her death. Blessed Be Her Memory.
