ANNABELLE HELLVIG GREGG
Marshall: Annabelle Gregg, age 80, of Marshall, died on Friday, August 27, 2010 at her home.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Marshall. Burial will take place in the Marshall Cemetery. A family story time will begin at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Annabelle Hellvig, the daughter of Frank and Ann (Kindler) Hellvig was born on August 17, 1930 at Zion Lake Township. On November 5, 1950, she was united in marriage to Edwin Gregg. Annabelle worked at the Marshall Independent and helped Edwin deliver the newspapers to area towns.
Her hobbies included coin collecting, doing puzzles, fishing, watching her grandson race cars and going to the casinos.
Annabelle had reached the age of 80 years and 11 days at the time of her death.
Annabelle is survived by her daughter, Rebekah Gregg of Redwood Falls; four grandchildren, Michael (Lisa) Gregg of Redwood Falls, Markeela (Matthew) Toreen of Morton, Kayla and Ariannna Gregg both of Redwood Falls; six great-granchildren; his siblings, Elsie Hasert of Minneota, Andrew Hellvig of Minneota, Agnes Boe of Lynd, Irene Peterson of Russell and Mae Guza of Russell; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents and siblings, Leo Hellvig, Mary Rasmussen, Jake Hellvig, George Hellvig, Elizabeth Sullivan, Wallace Gregg, Kevin Gregg, Kenneth Gregg, Eddie Gregg, Rick Gregg, Arlo Gregg, Lorraine Leith, nieces and nephews.
