Audrey Ellen Wilson

Audrey Ellen Wilson, age 73, of Marshall, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2015 at the Prairie Home Hospice House in Marshall, Minnesota. Memorial Services are 2:00 PM Saturday, October 24, 2015 at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Marshall. Following refreshments, interment will be in the Marshall Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 1:00 – 2:00 PM, Saturday at the funeral chapel.

Audrey Ellen Wilson was born on March 2, 1942 in Stanley Township, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Charles “Willis” and Florence (Babcock) Wilson. Audrey grew up in Marshall and graduated from Marshall High School in 1960. She went on to continue her education to study accounting at the Minneapolis Business College, where she graduated from in 1962.

Audrey made her home in rural Marshall for most of her life. She also lived in Sioux Falls, South Dakota before returning to Marshall a few years ago. She worked as a bookkeeper for Solar Gas Company in Marshall. She was a member of the Circle Star Saddle Club and grew up showing and competing with her prized horses in Minnesota, Iowa, and South Dakota with her dad cheering her on.

Audrey died on Saturday, October 17, 2015, in Marshall at the age of 73 years, 7 months, 15 days. Blessed be her memory.

Audrey is survived by her niece, Marcia (and Steve) Soderberg; nephews, Christopher (and Denise) White, Daniel White, Scott (and Betty) Wilson, Todd (and Becky) Wilson, Mrs. Douglas (Becky) Wilson; brother-in-law, Kenneth White; other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willis and Florence Wilson; brother, Kenneth Wilson; sister, Pearl White; and nephew, Douglas Wilson.
