Barbara Gould, age 73, of Cottonwood, Minnesota, died on Monday, June 17, 2019, at St. Cloud Hospital St. Cloud, Minnesota. Funeral Services are 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2019, Hamilton Funeral Home in Marshall, Minnesota. Interment will follow in the Cottonwood City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 – 12:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Marshall.
Barbara Anne Fox was born on May 16, 1946, to Donald and Mabel (Swanson) Fox, in Marshall, Minnesota. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Edward’s and attended St. Edward’s school through the 5th grade. Barbara then graduated from the Minneota High School with the class of 1964. Barb had many different jobs starting with Marshall Produce, Swift’s, Schwan’s, Casey’s, and Runnings.
Barbara enjoyed spending time with her 3 wonderful children and her grandchildren. Her family was the center of her attention and she loved sharing her life with them. Barb also enjoyed concerts and going dancing, camping and sitting by a bonfire. She loved to share the joy of life with those she loved.
The Lord sent an angel, Mabel, to Barb and called her name on June 17, Barb was ready to take her place in heaven even though she had to leave the ones she loved dearly. She knew the angels would come for her family one day too and her family would be as one again. She reached the age of 73 years, 1 month, and 1 day.
Barbara’s request of her precious family and friends is they remember all the good times had together.

Barbara is survived by her children, Gina Bollig of Cottonwood, Jerry (and Lisa) Gould, Jr., of Merrifield, Michael (and Michelle) Gould of Morgan; 9 grandchildren, Justin, Stephanie, Tessa, Chelsie, Devon, Brooklyn, Emily, Jacob, Kailee; 4 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Dave Holey of Marshall; ex-husband, Gerald Gould of Faribault; nieces, nephews, other relative and many friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Donald and Mabel Fox; sisters, Judy Holey and Rebecca Fox; brother, Donnie Fox, Jr.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to donor’s choice.
