Marshall: Brittney Jo Fox, age 19, of Marshall, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, August 27, 2013.
Funeral Mass will be 10:30 A.M. Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Marshall. Burial will be at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Marshall.
Visitation will be 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday at Hamilton Funeral Home with a 7:30 P.M. prayer service. Visitation will continue Saturday one hour prior to the services at the church.
Brittney Jo was born July 11, 1994 in Marshall to Mary Jo (Koch) and Lyndon Fox. She was baptized and received first communion at St. Edward’s Catholic Church in Minneota. She graduated from Marshall Senior High School in 2012 and went on to attend Ridgewater College for a year and received her CNA.
Brittney worked in Willmar until moving back to Marshall this last June. While attending Minnesota West in Pipestone, Brittney was employed at Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center.
Brittney passed away suddenly on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 as a result of an automobile accident. She had reached the age of 19 years, 1 month and 16 days.
Brittney is survived by her mother, Mary Jo (and Joel MCoy) Fox, of Granite Falls; father, Lyndon Fox of Marshall; brother, Derek (Kayln Ratajczak) Fox, of Marshall; fiancé, Garrett Dubbeldee, of Marshall; Garrett’s parents, Curt and Carmen Dubbeldee, Garrett’s sister, Rachel Dubbeldee, all of Marshall; maternal grandmother, Lillian Koch, of Taunton; paternal grandmother, Viola Fox, of St. Leo; grandma Corrine Dubbbeldee of Marshall; grandparents, Phyllis and Ray Becker of Tensleep, WY; also many relatives and many friends.
Brittney was preceded in death by her paternal grandpa, Virgil Fox; maternal grandpa, George Koch; and grandpa, Leon Dubbeldee.
Brittney’s enjoyments in life included shopping, Kiki her kitty, spending time with Garrett and her family and friends, and working on their house.
