Caitlin Renee Demuth was born December 31, 2012, in Marshall, Minnesota. She was the youngest of three children born to Brent and Lisa (Truwe) Demuth. She lived with her family on their farm in Lynd, Minnesota, and attended school there as well.
Caitlin was an active 3rd grader, known for being very independent and helpful when others needed a hand. She had a caring soul and picked up on others sadness, she strived to be a bright spot in their day. She often took care of her two brothers, even though they were both older than her, by making them breakfast or taking over other duties when mom was at work.
Caitlin truly enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with her family on the farm. She enjoyed fishing, horses, riding the four-wheelers, Ranger, and tractors. She had a love for all animals and often said that she was going to become a veterinarian and a teacher. Caitlin was also active in basketball and enjoyed playing with her Panther teammates.
Caitlin Demuth died as the result of a tragic accident at her home on Wednesday, April 20, 2022. Her last day was spent with people she cared for and on her farm doing what she loved. She earned her Angel wings at the age of 9 years, 3 months, and 20 days. Cailtlin’s caring soul lived on as she was able to help at least 4 other children in need of organs through her generous gift of donation. Even at 9 years old, she discussed the option with her parents and mentioned that someday she would want to help if she was able to. Blessed be her memory.
She will be lovingly remembered by her parents, Brent and Lisa Demuth of Lynd; brothers, Riley and Mason Demuth of Lynd; grandparents, Bob and Kathy Truwe of Amiret, Sue and Gary VanWatermuelen of Taunton, Mark Demuth of Lynd; many aunts and uncles, a lot of cousins; with teachers, classmates, and friends.
