Vesta: Cherrie L. Whitehead, age 39, of Vesta, passed away at the Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center on Saturday, July 17, 2010. A private memorial service wilol be held at a later date. Cherrie Lea Whitehead was born to William and Barbara (Jordan) Holcomb on September 13, 1970 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She is survived by her husband, Mark of Vesta; two children, Brittany and Michele Pesch of Vesta; two stepchildren, Michael and Brandon Whitehead of Eagan; and brother, Jim Holcomb of Niagara, Wisconsin.
