David Guy Paulson, age 60, of Marshall, died after battling cancer on Friday, July 10, 2015, at Avera Morningside Heights Care Center in Marshall. Private family services will be at a later date. Interment will be in the Bellwood Cemetery, Zimmerman, Minnesota.
David Guy Paulson was born on April 7, 1955. He grew up in Minneapolis and was married to Katherine Goresuch in 1981. Shortly thereafter, the couple moved to Princeton, Minnesota. Katherine died in 1999 and David moved around before settling in Marshall where he met Alice Dixon. David and Alice have been together for the past 10 years.
David worked as a jeweler and then did various jobs in a machine shop. His enjoyments in life included fishing, hunting, camping, and really any reason to get outside and enjoy nature.
David died on Friday, July 10, 2015, in Marshall, Minnesota at the age of 60 years, 3 months and 3 days. Blessed be his memory.
David is survived by his son, Daniel Paulson (and Cheyanne Hawk) of Hanley Falls, MN; significant other, Alice Dixon of Madison, SD; 4 grandchildren, Kylee Jo Paulson, Rachel Paulson, Riley Paulson, and William Wisniewski; 2 brothers; 1 sister; nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Katherine Paulson; and daughter, Kelly Paulson.
