Frank Sanow

Marshall: Frank Sanow, age 83, of Marshall , passed away at his residence on Saturday, March 12, 2011. Funeral services will be held at the Radiant Life Church in Marshall on Wednesday March, 16 2011 at 2pm. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Frank Sanow, the son of Frank and Fanna (Aljets) Sanow was born on February 14, 1928 in Iona. On March 2, 1962 he was united in marriage to Cecilia Garrow at the Christ Lutheran Church in Cottonwood. Frank managed Goodwin Furs for 25 years. He later worked at Cornbelt Foods and at the Marshall Independent till his retirement in 2006. Frank enjoyed his yard, plants, woodworking, gardening, fishing, outdoors activities, his grandchildren and aggravating Grandma. Frank served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Frank is survived by his wife; Cecilia, his children; Robin Sanow of Marshall, Randal (Stacie) Sanow of Newton, Kansas, Rodney (Lisa) Sanow of East Bethel, Sonia (Brian) Winter of Glyndon, Gale (Jake) (Deb) Sanow of Marshall, Troy (Aaron) Sanow of Marshall, Jason (Vanessa) Sanow of Starbuck, Linda Wood of Sioux Falls and Dale (Glenda) Sanow of Jasper, 22 grandchildren; Jamison, Jessica, Jeremy Winter, Naomi, Danielle, Tessa Sanow, Derek Alderman, Ryan Sanow, Chad, Mark and Jeff Sanow, Kelli Sanow, Angelica Sanow, Marissa, Krista and Sydney Sanow, Emara, Jaycee, and Kyan Sanow, Danette, Melissa and John Bonrud 14 great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters; Sylvester Sanow of Minneota, Raymond Sanow of Marshall, Vernon Sanow of Tracy, Donald (Janice) Sanow of Minneota, Rosetta Woodbury of Crofton, Neb. and Sylvia (Gary) Roberts of Marshall, and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and his faithful companion; Rylie T (his dog). He was preceded in death by his parents, infant son, brothers; William, August, Fred and Harold Sanow, sisters; Francis, Louise, Alice and Viola, one grandson; Brandon .
