Jeff A. Williams

Jeff Williams, age 58, of Marshall, Minnesota, died on Monday, July 9, 2018, at the Minneota Manor Care Center. Memorial Services are 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 13, 2018, at Hamilton Funeral Home in Marshall, Minnesota. Interment will follow in the Lynd City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 12, 2018, at Hamilton Funeral Home in Marshall. A Prayer Service is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service, from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. on Friday, again at the Hamilton Funeral Home.

Jeffery Arnold Williams was born on February 20, 1960, in Marshall, Minnesota. He was the son of Arnold and Beverly (Engelking) Williams. Jeff was baptized and confirmed at Christ United Presbyterian Church in Marshall. He was the oldest of five children. Jeff attended Marshall Public Schools and graduated with the class of 1978.

Jeff was united in marriage to Carole Johnson on August 7, 1982 at Peace Lutheran Church in Barrett, MN, they were married for 18 years and had 2 children, Joshua and Jessica. They lived briefly in the Barrett area before relocating to Marshall in 1984. Over the years, Jeff worked at Schwan’s, Superior /Marshall Truss and most recently at Alter Metal.

Jeff had many hobbies in life, music being one of his favorites. He enjoyed singing and playing guitar especially to old country western songs. He also had a side karaoke business. He had many great friendships, he appreciated going to Fuzzy’s to play darts, pool, and foosball with his buddies. Another of Jeff’s favorite pastimes was playing softball.

Jeff is survived by his daughter, Jessica (Kevin) Schulte of Farmington; 5 grandchildren, Kaydence, Serenity, Declan, Aidric, and Everleigh; sisters, Jeanne (Brian) Cramer of St. Charles, IL, Tracey (John) St. Aubin of Hudsonville, MI, Tammy (Chad) Regnier of Sartell, MN, Melissa (Jon) Roesler of Pierre, SD; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnie Williams and Bev Satern; and his son, Josh.
