Marshall: Jodie Fliss, age 46, of Longmont, CO. formerly of Marshall, passed away Monday, February 25, 2013. Celebration of Jodie’s life will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, April 6th at Hamilton Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Condolences may be submitted to www.hamilton.com. Jodie Mae was born to Dallas and Janet (Mann) Fliss on October 26, 1966 in Marshall, Minnesota. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Stephen Lutheran Church. Following her graduation from Marshall High School in 1985, Jodie studied Interior Design at Alexandria Vo Tech in Alexandria, Minnesota. Jody worked for many years as a Nanny for Chris Wright and Becky Troth in Bethesda, Maryland. She was a dedicated care giver for their two children David and Katie, and was a much loved part of their family. Jodie also loved her dog, Toby. Jodie passed away at the age of 46 in Longmont, Colorado on Monday, February 25, 2013. She is survived by three brothers, Rick (and Cindy) Fliss of Matthews, North Carolina, Jeff Fliss of Eden Prairie, Minnesota and Jim (and Rhonda) Fliss of Longmont, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dallas and Janet Fliss. Blessed be the memory of Jodie Fliss.
