Jon Craig Simpson

Marshall: Jon Simpson, age 66, of Marshall, passed away at the REM home in Marshall on Sunday, May 29, 2011. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 18th at the Hamilton Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Jon Craig was born on July 7, 1942 in Rochester, MN to Gerald and Helen (Nussloch) Simpson. In 1989 he moved to REM Southwest Services in Marshall and worked at Advance (formerly Lyon County DAC) until he retired in 2009. Jon’s enjoyments in life were stuffed animals, playing Connect Four, outside activities, and going on van rides. He loved the house cat, Delilah who would cuddle with him. Jon passed away at his residence on Sunday, May 29, 2011. He had reached the age of 66 years, 10 months and 22 days. He is survived by his brother, Tom (and Wynne) Simpson of Boulder, CO, sister-in-law, Ruth Simpson of Albert Lea, MN and friends and staff of Southwest Services.
