Marshall: Joshua L. Williams, age 30, of Marshall, passed at his residence on Friday, July 12, 2013.
Celebration of Josh’s life will be 1:00 pm Thursday, July 18th at St. Stephen Lutheran Church. Visitation will be 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Hamilton Funeral Home. Visitation will continue at the church on Thursday, one hour prior to the service.
Joshua Lindsay was born on December 31, 1982 in Elbow Lake, Minnesota to Jeffrey and Carole (Johnson) Williams. He was baptized at his mother’s parent’s home and later confirmed at St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Marshall. He graduated from Marshall High School in 2001.
Josh worked at various jobs around Marshall which included cooking and building construction. He loved life to the fullest and his enjoyments included extensive traveling, baseball, softball sand volleyball, Frisbee golf, skydiving, intermural basketball, high diving at the pool and playing with his nephew and two nieces.
He is survived by his parents, Carole (Brian Wolf) Williams of Marshall and Jeff Williams of Marshall; a sister, Jessica (Kevin) Schulte of Farmington; nieces, Kaydence and Serenity Schulte; nephew, Declan Schulte; paternal grandparents, Arnold Williams of Marshall and Beverly Satern of St. James; also aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Joan Anderson and Manton Johnson.
Josh was a member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church at the time of his death.
