Marshall: Laura Lee, age 81, of Marshall, passed away at the Prairie View Health Care Center in Tracy on Tuesday, June 1, 2010. Memorial services will be 10:30 A.M. Friday, June 4, 2010 at the Hamilton Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday and will continue at the funeral home on Friday, one hour prior to the service Condolences may be sent to www.hamiltonfh.com Laura V. Lee was born to George and Vinnie (Robbins) Vogt on March 4, 1929 in Marshall. She was baptized and confirmed at the First Presbyterian Church in Currie. On March 11, 1954, Laura was united in marriage to Kenneth C. Lee in Flandreau, SD. They made their home in Marshall. She enjoyed being a homemaker and mother. Kenneth passed away on November 14, 2001. Laura passed away at the Prairie View Health Care Center Tracy was reunited with Kenneth on Tuesday, June 1, 2010. She is survived by her five children, Allan Willhite of Tracy, Robert Willhite of Slayton, Barbara Reisner of Ogalla, NE, Mary Shultz of Wheatland, WY and Sherri Wessells of Spring Valley; 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren; a brother, LeRoy Vogt of Willmar; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Kenneth. Laura’s family was thankful for every day they had with her. They are especially thankful for Barbara Vinson’s (Allan’s fiance’) spending daily time, shopping and doing other activities with Laura in the past months.
