Marshall: Melvin Rode, age 84, of Marshall, formerly of Arco, passed away at the Veterans Home in Luverne on Wednesday, July 25, 2012. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, July 28th at the Marshall Evangelical Free Church. Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. with a 7:00 P.M. prayer service Friday at the Hamilton Funeral Home. Visitation will continue at the church on Saturday, one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Arco City Cemetery. Military honors will be furnished by American Legion Post 113 of Marshall.
