Pa Bee, age 31, of Marshall, Minnesota, died peacefully on Friday, September 16, 2022, at the M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Funeral Services are 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 23, 2022, at the Marshall Karen and First Baptist Church in Marshall. Interment will follow in the Marshall Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 23, 2022, also at the church.
Pa Bee was born on May 12, 1991, in Myanmar. Orphaned at a young age, Pa grew up in the Maeramoe refugee camp in Thailand. He attended schooling there and later was united in marriage to Kay Paw in the same camp.
The couple immigrated to the United States in September 2012, settling first in North Carolina. Together, the couple had 3 children John, Wilson, and Alexander. In July 2018, the family moved to Marshall, Minnesota, where Pa found work as the church as vice secretary of the Marshall Karen Baptist Church. He also was actively studying at the Karen Seminary in St. Paul as his love of his faith continued to deepen.
Pa cherished time spent with his family, listening to gospel lessons, and enriching his church. He was one to care for others, both his home and congregational family, when any need arose.
Pa Bee died on Friday, September 16, 2022, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, following several medical challenges at the age of 31 years, 4 months, and 4 days. Blessed be his memory.
He is survived by his wife, Kay Paw of Marshall and their 3 children all of Marshall: John Mer (age 11), Wilson Bee (age 9), and Alexander Bee (age 3). He is preceded in death by infant son, Christian Bee (in 2016).
