Paw Gaw, age 62, of Marshall, Minnesota, died on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. A Funeral Service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 22, 2021, at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Marshall, Minnesota. Interment will follow in the Marshall Cemetery in Marshall. A visitation will be Friday, October 22, 2021, from 12:00 p.m. until the time of services at 1:00 p.m., also at the Hamilton Funeral Home.
Paw Gaw was born on March 10, 1959, in Burma, Asia. She was the daughter of Ter Noe and Munehkeh Kea. She attended the area schools. In the summer of 1985, Paw was united in marriage to Yeh Mya. To this union, 4 children were born.
Paw and her family spent several years at a Refugee Camp in Thailand. They then moved to Rockford, Illinois in 2009, before finally settling in Marshall, Minnesota in 2017. Paw loved staying home with her kids as they were growing up and continued the tradition with her 3 grandchildren. In her free time, Paw enjoyed gardening a variety of flowers, but her favorite was vegetables. She always made sure her family had healthy food available. She also enjoyed fishing with her husband. Paw will be remembered as a very kind and loving individual.
Paw died on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at Avera McKennan Hospital In Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She reached the age of 62 years, 7 months, and 9 days. Blessed be her memory.
Paw is survived by her husband, Yeh Mya of Marshall; 4 children, Ehkler Paw of Marshall, Nay Blue Soe of Marshall, Budoh Mo of Huron, SD, Moo Ku of Marshall; three grandchildren, Gayler Moo, Joshua Mying, Dylan Mying; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Paw is preceded in death by her parents, Ter Noe and Munehkeh Kea.
