Rose Marie Soupir, age 62, of Marshall, Minnesota, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 4, 2018 in Yuma, Arizona.
A Memorial Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services, from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the Hamilton Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 27, 2018, at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Marshall. Following entombment at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery, a reception will be held at the Marshall American Legion (upper level at 412 West Main St, Marshall) from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Rose was born in Canby, Minnesota, on August 27, 1956. She was married to David Soupir on October 1, 1976. They resided in Milroy before moving to Marshall in 1984 where they have resided for the past 34 years.
Her enjoyments in life included coaching her sons’ youth baseball, shooting pool, playing cards and bingo, doing crosswords and puzzles, wintering in Yuma, Arizona, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, David Soupir of Marshall; her children, Jason (Kim) Soupir of Forest Lake, Josh Soupir of Marshall, Jaci Jo Price of Marshall, and Travis Soupir Marshall; nine grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Joan Blood; her father, Donn Borchard; and her brother, Bob Johnson.
