Sharon (Berre) Anderson, age 78, of Pipestone and formerly of Marshall, Minnesota, died on Friday, March 21, 2025, at the Good Samaritan Village in Pipestone, Minnesota. Memorial Services are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Marshall, Minnesota. Visitation will be held one hour prior to her celebration, from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, also at the funeral home. Private interment will be at a later date in the Marshall Cemetery.
Sharon Kay Buesing was born on November 12, 1946, in Marshall, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Herman and Christine (Wenger) Buesing. Sharon grew up in Clarkfield, Minnesota, where she was baptized as an infant and later confirmed in her youth in the Lutheran faith. Sharon attended school in the Marshall Public Schools before helping her mother in the family home.
Sharon was married to Elmer Berre and the couple made their home in Clarkfield and had two children prior to his passing early in their marriage. Sharon moved back home with her parents in Marshall before a second brief marriage to Robert "Bobby" Anderson left her widowed a second time. Sharon found love yet again and was married on March 26, 1999, in Marshall, to Kenny St. Aubin. The couple spent the last 26 years together.
Sharon was a devoted homemaker and mother over the years. She was a faithful member of First Lutheran Church in Marshall and served on the Ladies' Aid. Her health, and that of Kenny's, began to decline in recent years and Sharon moved into an assisted living facility in Pipestone in 2023.
Sharon enjoyed fishing, baking, coloring, country and polka music, embroidery, and making peanut butter cookies to share. She was always up for a good game of SkipBo, Filler Bust, and especially Bingo.
Sharon Anderson died peacefully on Friday, March 21, 2025, at the Good Samaritan Village in Pipestone, Minnesota. She had reached the age of 78 years, 4 months, and 9 days. Blessed be her memory.
She is survived by her husband, Ken St. Aubin of Marshall; 2 children, Cheryl (and Steve) Bittner of Tyler, Bruce Berre of Pipestone; 2 grandchildren, Kayla Eick of Tampa, FL, Ashley Eick of Marshall; 3 great-grandchildren, Peyton, Frankie, Leland; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Christine Buesing; 3 brothers, Roland Buesing, Raymond Buesing, Eugene Buesing; and 2 sisters, Marlys Nelson and Dolores Przymus.
