Terry Louis Gemelke

Marshall: Terry L. Gemelke, age 59, of Ghent, passed away where he happily spent the last several months of his life at Avera Morningside Heights on Wednesday, November 17, 2010. A gathering will be held at the Gemelke home in Ghent from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. Saturday, November 27, 2010. Burial will be in the Russell City Cemetery. The Hamilton Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Terry Gemelke, also affectionately known as “Sweat,” was a colorful character with a generous heart when it came to family and friends. He loved and spoiled his cats which were all once strays. Earlier in life, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, reading westerns and visiting with family and friends. He attended grade school at Holy Redeemer and St. Eloi and graduated from Lynd High School.
Terry had worked distributing Schells Beer, a bartender and on a road crew for McLaughlin & Schultz.
He is survived by his siblings, Tim (and Patty), Taryn (and Brad), Ruby (and Fred), Tobi, Regan (and Shelly); and many much loved nieces and nephews.
Terry was preceded in death by his father, Bob; mother, Jeannette; brother, Tom; and four infant siblings.
